When new shoes hit the stores, we’re always excited to try them out and get a sense of how they feel. Every shoe and every foot is different, so it’s important to find the right fit for you. That’s why we try our best to stay informed so we can keep you informed. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 is the shoe we’re putting under review and here’s what we found.
Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 Review
One of the most notable differences in the Adrenaline GTS 19 is that it now has advanced GuideRails built into the shoe. With the GuideRails comes even more support than the previous Adrenaline versions. It keeps excess movement in check and protects you from injury. A new DNA LOFT crash pad along with BioMoGo DNA provides responsive cushion and durability that’ll keep you comfortable throughout your run.
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 has a streamlined look with engineered mesh and 3D Fit Print upper that provides structure and proven fit you know and love about the Adrenaline. The Brooks Adrenaline 19 provides more support than ever while still providing cushion in all the right places and maintaining a lightweight feel. It really is a great go to shoe.
If you want to get a little more technical, the Adrenaline GTS 19 has a 12mm midsole drop and works best for flat/medium arches. In terms of usage, we think the Adrenaline GTS 19 isn’t just a running shoe, but a support shoe you can wear while running errands or going for a walk. The support it provides will help keep you comfortable as you go throughout the day.
All in all, we think the added support is a great addition to the new Adrenaline. While it might not be for everyone, it is an ideal shoe for those looking for a little bit of cushion with extra support. If you’re looking for something more cushioned and with neutral support, the Brooks Ghost 11 is a great option to look into. Brooks still puts out some of our favorite running shoes and they’ve produced yet another great version of a running favorite.
