Saturday morning in 26,000 people are slated to walk and run in the 2013 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Nashville taking place in Brentwood, TN. The annual even hopes to raise $1 million dollars to fund research to cure breast cancer.
There is an expo going on today and tomorrow for anyone that would like to register in person at the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce Healthy Living and Lifestyles Expo October 24, 3pm-6pm and October 25, 10am-8pm at the Brentwood Baptist Church, 7777 Concord Road Brentwood, TN 37027.
Options for participants include 5K walk/run, 1 Mile walk/run, and children are welcome. Sleep in for the Cure is also available for anyone not able to be present to run the race.
