Shoe Review: Nike Zoom Vomero + 8

Nike Zoom Vomero+ 8

Nike Zoom Vomero+ 8

Nike has refined the Zoom Vomero to the simplest, yet most sophisticated version of their premier neutral cushion running trainer. This shoe has the impression of a lower profile than the iconic Air Pegasus. With its full cushlon midsole and Nike’s Zoom Air in both heel and forefoot for a responsive foot strike, it still keeps that amazing cushioned feel that makes the Zoom Vomero popular.

The upper looks more sleek than ever, welded seams and smooth overlays for a great fit, as well as the integrated shoelace and flywire-inspired fit system. Nike stepped out again with a unique dual color pattern.

This shoe retails for $129.99, which is $10 to $15 less than other brand’s comparable neutral cushion shoes, and it may be the sleeper that shouldn’t be overlooked.

For a price of $99.99, the Air Pegasus is a good solid shoe as well, just minus a few features of the Vomero and a distinctive tri-color upper.

Get outside and get moving!
